City of Woodland Hills, KY

The city of Woodland Hills, a neighbor of the city of Middletown, is a lovely community located in the gently rolling hills of far eastern Jefferson County, Kentucky. Founded in 1962 as a new single-family development in the suburban Louisville area it provides a beautiful and safe environment for all residents. The city boasts the 7 acre Hardy Brinly Park which provides ample green space for all sorts of outdoor activities.

Resident Information

City Commission Meetings:
* The 4th Tuesday of every month (August-May) at 7:00 PM sharp at Hite Elementary School.
* The 4th Tuesday of each month (June-July) at First Baptist Church in Middletown.
* The 2nd Tuesday of December
* Should the regularly scheduled meeting listed above fall on a legal holiday, as defined by the KRS,the meeting will be held on next day which is not a legal holiday.

Park Regulations:
1. Park closes at dark
2. No alcohol in the park
3. No glass containers in the park
4. No motorized vehicles in grass



Recent areas of concern:
1. No parking of vehicles in
grass (yards or easements) allowed
2. Trash bins must not be kept in
front of homes except on pick up days
3. Observe pet leash law and pick
up droppings
4. Help keep our park clean and
safe for our kids



Weekly Pick ups:

Wednesday am - Yard waste pick-up April 1 through January 15.

Thursday am - Trash pick up
(curbside bin used)


Every other Thursday am - Recycling pick up (curbside bin used)


If pick up days fall on a holiday then pick up will be the next business day.
